01Background & experience
My late uncle Ingólfur Guðni, my father’s brother, remains a role model for me. He ran his own advertising agency and played a big part in sparking my interest in cameras and advertising — an interest that has stayed with me ever since.
I completed my studies in Film Technology at Studio Sýrland. There I learned how to take an idea through planning, filming and post-production, and how much good collaboration matters to the result.
Since then, I have worked in advertising and video production and photographed more than 3,000 properties. I particularly enjoy working with lighting, finding the right angle and editing footage so that the rhythm and story hold your attention.
02Good collaboration starts with a conversation.
You do not need to arrive with a fully formed idea. We start by talking about what you want to show, who you want to reach and where the content will appear. From there, we develop the project together.
I take care of the technical side so you can focus on what you want to communicate. Good preparation gives us a clear direction and room to explore ideas that emerge during the shoot.
03Why ONE SHOT?
I founded ONE SHOT to build a service I can stand behind: carefully crafted images and films, clear communication and enough time to do the work well.
I want people to feel that we are working together — that they can share ideas, ask questions and trust me to give their project my full attention.
